A publication bearing the name Pure Land Notes has been with us here in the UK since the mid-1970's. Over time it evolved from a simple A4 newsletter into a ful colour 20xA5 page hard-copy journal, published quarterly as Pure Land Notes; journal of the Pure Land Buddhist Fellowship.
When, in 2012, www.purelandnotes.com was launched, its primary purpose was to offer a way in which people could make on-line subscriptions to the hard-copy journal. Back then, the majority of subscribers prefered the hard-copy. Those days are now long gone - but Pure Land Notes lives on as a WEBLOG - optimised to look good on smartphones. |
