  Our Jodo Shinshu/Pure Land Group meets 8-9.30pm EVERY WEDNESDAY. Our program alternates between an entry level Buddha Service one week, and a relatively easy-going Study Session the other. The Study Sessions take place exclusively on-line via Zoom. Our Buddha Service is presented in a hybrid form, and you are invited to attend in person or via Zoom. |

When it began, submissions to Pure Land Notes were hand written and delivered by a man uniformed postman. It is quite an understatement to say that a lot has changed since then and, the bottom line is that subscription to the original hard-copy journal has taken a terminal nosedive.
There came a time when we had to draw a line. And that is exactly what we did. We drew a new start line! Accordingly, this reboot and reset of the SBFUK (which began in Nov 2021) now includes the launch of a weblog. This replaces the publication of the Pure Land Notes hard-copy. But it will not vanish, because work has now begun on assembling an archive of some of the most interesting pieces that PLN included in a run of publication that spanned about thirty-years. Those selected will be put on-line in January 2025.
